Advances in Science would not be possible without the help of funding agencies. September 2020 marks the end of a beautiful year of support from the Birds New Zealand Research Funds. They have been extremely generous and funded our genetic work with New Zealand Agresearch. Thank you to Birds New Zealand Research Fund for your fantastic support this past year, and thanks to everyone who contributed to making my research project an incredible journey.
Our work will allow us to disentangle the genetic and social influence on the vocalizations of our study species, the Titipounamu, Acanthisitta chloris. We will be presenting our results at the 2021 Birds New Zealand Conference, so stay tuned.
